ABOUT US

SedalCU was born from a collaboration project between resuscitators, psychologist and nurses of the San Paolo Hospital in Milan. Now it has spread to several others hospitals in Italy and Switzerland.

Its aim is to assist the operators in managing analgesia and sedation in the intensive care unit, as it has been proved that these procedures can highly influence the outcome of high-risk critical patients.

Which are the last discoveries about sedation, pain and delirium in high-risk critical patients?

How different intensive care units behave toward different choices about sedatives, analgesics and antipsychotic therapies… and above all: how to improve the results?

Is it possible to train operators effectively through EMC courses on such an important theme, without overloading them?

www.sedaicu was born to try and answer these questions. Now it’s your turn to help and turn this ambitious project into reality!

You are free to use the contents of the web site, either to read about the latest discoveries in the scientific literature, or download all the useful instruments for your daily practice: we would like this site to became a container of all the necessary and validated instruments to monitor the neurological framework of your critical patients.

In the “about us” section, you can discover more about our projects and publications and also consult the Conduct code that inspire us.

For any questions and curiosities please don’t hesitate to contact us.

The SedaICU Team wishes you a pleasant visit.
